WANT TO VOLUNTEER AT THE FESTIVAL?
Herefordshire CAMRA's Beer on the Wye Festival runs from Friday 11th July - Sunday 14th July 2025 and its continued success is reliant on the amazing volunteers that join us each year. It requires 130+ volunteers to run and that is a lot of help. There are a wide range of volunteer roles available over different shifts and times. Some volunteers prefer setup and take-down duties, others enjoy working the bars and meeting new people, whereas some like being the welcoming face of the festival on the front desk. Whichever role you choose, all volunteers are invaluable and their contribution very much appreciated.

Please note that we always need people to help with stewarding, even if it is only for part of a shift. Stewarding does NOT mean being a 'bouncer', nor will you be required to deal with any conflict. We have a fully qualified professional security team to do that for us. Stewards are the face of the festival answering queries, spotting hazards and giving advice to festival attendees. Stewards receive the same benefits as other volunteer staff.

Volunteers are welcomed and supported throughout the festival and are supplied with a free festival T-Shirt, free camping (if needed) and complimentary beer and food tokens. You are also entitled to free entry to another session during the festival.

You need to be 18+ years to work at the festival. If you would like to apply to be a volunteer, please click on the 'Volunteer Application' button above and complete the online form. Moreover if you have a friend or family member who would like to volunteer with you, get them to apply online too.
